  1. I’m going to miss this strip. If daily strips are too much, what about a weekly Tina strip? (Like Bill Amends FoxTrot?)

  2. I really enjoyed this strip. I will be so sad to see it go. I loved all the characters. I feel there will be a question always as to what happened next to them all. I will miss my dose of Tina’s Groove. It was my relaxation. Thanks.

  3. I will miss Tina.
How about dressing her up a little and getting her a job in an office. It could be any office like, say, a newspaper office where she could have friends, boyfriends, enemies and a string of bosses.
I’m an 81 yr old widower and live through the newspaper.

  4. Is Tina taking Gus with her? I hope. He was such a neat guy and they seem so good for each other. Please keep Gus in her life.

  5. Does this mean that Tina is really leaving? I love how it’s being done….very clever and imaginative….but i will really miss her!!!! Thanks for a great comic strip! It’s one I looked forward to reading each morning.

    • I discovered Tina’s groove while on deployment to Afghanistan and read while in Iraq and Africa. I will miss the humor. It helped make a stressful deployment more manageable

  6. Thanks for Tina’s Groove for all of these past years. I’m sad to see her go and am really going to miss her. You created quite an endearing character.

Will King Features keep the Tina’s Groove archive going? It’s a lot of fun going back and looking through the old strips. And besides, I haven’t read all of them yet, but hope to. And is there any chance the earliest strips starting in 2002 will be available? It’d be great seeing all 5725+ strips.

I wish you all the best in your new endeavor with RWO. Perhaps Tina could make a cameo appearance over there.

Again, thanks very much for Tina’s Groove.

  7. Tina’s Groove – one of the first comic strips I read every morning in my newspaper. Sad to see her leave but totally enjoying the way she’s cleaning up and bowing out! Thanks for the fun!

  8. How amazing you guys are! Thank you for all the kind words and warm wishes. I just want all of you to know that I appreciate you reading my strip all these years — It really means a lot to me, and I thank you all for being a huge part of Tina’s Groove — I could not have hoped for better readers! Thanks to all of you! xox

  9. I’m also really going to miss your strip, it stands out. Stood out, I guess. I hope it was your own choice to stop

  10. Having all three of my daughters begin their careers as servers, it was nice to read this and laugh. It seemed that Tina could have been any one of them on any given day. Tina even seemed to be like my youngest who started at Roadhouse when she was 16 (Monica’s job) and ended as one of their top servers eight years later. Now she has her own Gus and a baby girl on the way.

It is a bit sad when a good strip closes down. Happy trails.

  11. I really enjoyed this strip and thought you did some really wonderful stuff, both in terms of art and stories. A good cast of characters. Best wishes for your future endeavors.
