  1. Well I didn’t realize what was going on until today. I’m seriously going to miss this comic, it’s one of my favorites. Best of luck to you.

  2. It wasn’t all that long ago that I binge (re)read the entire run of Tina. I particularly enjoyed the arcs of Tina’s dating experiences (James the bookstore guy, Noel the Insecure, even Monica’s brother) before she found her Mr. Right in Gus, the better bartender. Her friendships with Suzanne and Rob, her… experiences with Carlos and Monica, her homelife with Ma, all of these were filled with warmth and care and rounded out Tina’s world. Me, I was just one more Claude who visited Peppers frequently to enjoy the camaraderie and the ‘drama’ of life at the little Canadian eatery. Here’s hoping we’ll get to spot Tina, or even Gina, cameo in Rhymes With Orange in the future. No one here will ever forget ’em.

  3. Hi Rina. I fell in love with Tina when I first read your strip and am very sad to see her go. It was one of the cartoons that I looked forward to each week, and I will miss it greatly. It was a good run and you are to be congratulated on a terrific strip. I wish you the very best in your career change and hope to see more of your work in the coming days. Cheers, John.

  4. I’m going to miss Tina and the gang. Having been a waitress, I certainly could relate. I’m a painter and am used to getting direct feedback at gallery openings and from clients. I imagine that kind of face to face feedback from the public is a little harder to come by for syndicated comic strip cartoonists. Your fans are anonymous and far away. Well, imagine folks like me sitting down each night after 14 hours on our feet to relax, escape and reading Tina’s Groove, smiling and unwinding…thanks for the smiles.
