Upcoming Events: Fun With Physics!

A very silly Quark

Hello, comics-lovers,

On the evening of Wednesday February 1st I’ll be at the Leaside Public Library in Toronto to promote my book, Quirky Quarks: A Cartoon Guide to the Fascinating Realm of Physics. The presentation will feature comics and cartoons that explore the often mind boggling nature of reality.

If you love black holes, Dark Matter, and general weirdness — and you live in the city, then I would love to see you there. Here are the deets:

When: Wednesday Feb. 1st, 7pm – 8pm

Where: Leaside Public Library, 165 McRae Drive, (map)

What: “Fun With Physics: a Cartoon Look at the Nature of Reality”

What would happen to you if you fell into a black hole? Why is Dark Matter so mysterious? These are some questions that will be explored with a visual showcase of cartoons and comics. A presentation by Rina Piccolo. No registration required. Everyone welcome.

Hope to see you there!

… and hey, if you can’t make it, and want to know what you’ve missed, I’ll be doing this presentation again in April, at the Beaches Public Library in Toronto. (Details will be posted here in March.)

As always, thanks for reading!

    • Hi, John
Yes, of course kids are welcome! Keep in mind, however, that it’s mainly the type of presentation that older kids, and adults would find interest in… but on the other hand, it will be lively, and there are lots of cartoons, comics and drawings to look at. So, yes, please bring your son 🙂 !
